#scrappystrip technique 'Winds of Change'

A couple of weeks ago, the Australian Stampin' Up! demonstrator Bruno Bertucci released a new technique to the world, and it has gone viral! Bruno is the husband of the number one demo in Australia, Kylie Bertucci and they are both amazing, inspirational people.

Anyway, I have had several attempts at the technique and have actually done two FB Lives showing the technique. Last week's( On Tuesday) was slightly different as I created a card using vertical strips instead of the conventional horizontal ones. My inspiration came from a photo of the beautiful Tulip fields of the Netherlands. I wanted the strips to represent the lines of tulips all lined up with their different colours. I hope you like the effect. I used the stamp set from Stampin' Up! called the 'Winds of Change'

I've had such fun with this technique, so I've created some more cards. I will be doing lots more in the future too! It's a very addictive technique and it's superb for using up scraps of Designer Series Paper. Here's a few more samples.
