First Zoom Online Class

Well this week saw the start of our online Zoom classes. It was lovely for both of my card classes to get together and have a chat but to make some cards too! The cards had to be quite simple in nature and with minimal stamping involved as per Stampin' Up! policy, we are not allowed to send out or stamp images for our customers. With this in mind, I created four simple cards that relied on our beautiful Designer Series Paper to be the main feature of the cards, either for the backing papers or for the images on the paper to be fussy cut around. The recipients had to use their own stamps to finish the cards.

The gorgeous Designer Series Paper that I used is called 'Best Dressed' and I'm not kidding you when I say that I absolutely love it!! I will be so sad when it retires at the end of May.

Panels measure: 92 x 40 mm
                            82 x 50 mm
                                   40 x 40 mm and
                              50 x 50 mm.

DSP flowers just fussy cut to decorate.
I die cut the DSP and White Card stock from the
Rectangle Dies. I also embossed the white card stock layer.

This is the Scrappy Strip Technique. You can see my previous blog posts for this technique.

The Base Card was pre cut at 65 mm, this then created the front panel. I ran this through one of the gorgeous new 'Ornate Frames' from Stampin' Up! The DSP for both panels measured
100 x 78 mm
100 x 50 mm
I cut another pretty frame from the 'Ornate Dies' in Lovely Lipstick.
The recipients just had to stick everything on and fussy cut the flowers again for the inner detail.

We finished two of the cards off with the White Tulle Polka Dot ribbon, another favourite of mine. Everyone had a brilliant session and we can't wait for the next class. The Zoom classes are the closest that we can get to having crafty sessions together. They certainly are great fun though!

Happy Crafting
Love Sarah. xx
