Wishes and Wonder

Is it just me or is the time flying quicker than ever? It won't be long before Christmas is here and I know that none of us are quite sure what type of Christmas we will be celebrating this year, but I think that we still have to carry on the best way that we can, and plan accordingly.

With that in mind, I'm still making cards, gift packaging and tags. In my FB Live this week I used my brand new stamp and die set called 'Wishes and Wonder' from Stampin' Up! Whem I first saw this set I knew that it would be perfect for the trendy DL or slimline cards. The die set also has a gift tag die so it's perfect to create all of those wonderful tags that you need for your presents. That's exactly what I decided to make for my Live, gift tags and a DL card. I hope you like them.

DL Card: These can vary a little in size, especially between the global markets, so I always would measure and cut your card stock to suit your envelopes.

Measurements: Whisper White Card Base 21 cm x 21 cm scored at 10.5 cm.
Smoky Slate Base Layer 20.5 cm x 10 cm
Feels Like Frost DSP Layers 15 cm x 9.5 cm and 5.5 cm x 9.5 cm

I adhered the gorgeous DSP scene layer to the smoky slate base and used the other side of the DSP to create a decorative effect on the base layer. I then tied the stunning metallic mesh ribbon from Stampin' Up! around the join and attached another piece for a bow.
I silver embossed the reindeer and the sleigh on to our shimmery white card stock and water coloured them both in with Sahara Sand and Smoky Slate classic ink. I then used the die cut shapes to cut them out and mount them on to the snow scene. I finished the card off with the North Pole decal stamp and mounted it on to Balmy Blue glimmer paper and then added a few of the stunning blue adhesive backed gems from the 'Snowflake Splendour suite from Stampin' Up! I completed the card with the long sentiment which I felt was perfect for the length of the sleigh and reindeer together.

Look how stunning this metallic mesh is!

Gift Tags and Box:

Box Measurements: 8¼" x 5½" Scored Short Side 1¼"

Scored Long Side 1¼", 2½", 4¾", 6".

DSP 2 of  4 1/8" x 2 1/8"
             2 of  4/1/8" x 1 1/8"

Gift Tag Base Card 4½" x 2 1/8"
Whisper White Gift Tag Die Cut shape.

I stamped all four of the images with Soft Suede classic ink on to the separate tags and decotared them with a small piece of DSP and then the sentiment. The base coloured card stock I stamped the mistletoe image in the corresdponding colour all over it and used the scalloped tag topper punch to make the tag shape. I just joined both of the tags together with a Real Red ribbon.

The box was simple and quick to make and I just adhered the 'Tis The Season  DSP on all four sides and decorated it with the die cut reindeer on top of a Real Red die cut tag which had also been stamped with the mistletoe image. I finished it off with a sentiment to match the gift tags.

A quick and easy gift or storage box for the tags.

I hope you enjoyed this week's projects? I really enjoyed designing and making them and I can't wait to come up with some different ideas too! I'm going to finish there until next time, see you soon.

                                    Happy Crafting
                                      Love Sarah. xx
