Ornate Garden Suite

I'm back again with yet some more gorgeous cards that use the Ornate Garden Suite. I really am in love with this suite and I certainly don't regret buying it! The ornate dies really are wonderful and I can think of so many ways to use them. I will be sharing plenty more ideas in the future with them, because I just can't put them down at the moment.

I've made a few cards that are all based on the same design. They are a strip of the Speciality Designer Series Paper( SDSP) that is all scored in the same way but just glued down in different areas to create slightly different styles of cards. It really is very clever! My inspiration was from the fabulous Patty Bennett.

The SDSP measures 280mm x 140mm and they are all scored on the long side at, 40mm, 110mm, 180mm. The paper is then just burnished either as a valley or mountain fold, see the pics to see which way to fold them. The addition of different card stock, dies, sentiments and stamping all create a different look. One of them is even turned on it's side to create a quick and easy gift card holder.

I hope you like them. It's definitely a clever fold that I will be using in the future. I love the fact that it makes a range of cards that can be altered and changed just by some clever sticking.

I will do a video very soon, to explain how to make the initial fold and show you the different ways of where to add the adhesive.
