Birthday Bonanza Card Class

Classes this week were a little challenging to say the least.  I do like to give my ladies good value for money so sometimes we step out of our comfort zones and learn a new technique or card/fold.
This week was no exception as one of the cards that we made was a pendulum card or rocker card. I had never made one before but it looked like a fun interactive card, especially fun for children which was ideal with the children themed cards using the 'Birthday Bonanaza' suite. Anyway, we finished the cards in the end and they all did so well! They actually all worked when moved, so that was good! I did prepare the card kits quite a bit for them, as I pre cut all the circles that they needed for the card. Unfortunately the circle dies that Stampin' Up! sell were not big enough so I a cutter from elsewhere.

I followed a German Stampin' Up Demonstrator for the tutorial, Janas Bastelwalt. With my measurements I think it will help you to know how the card goes together.

Bermuda Bay Circle Diameter 13cm
Coastal Cabana Circle Diameter 10cm
Back DSP Circle Diameter 9 cm
Front Semi Circle Diameter Coastal Cabana 12cm, dry embossed.
Front Semi Circle Diameter DSP 10cm.

The other two cards in class were relatively easily but just involved plenty of stamping and die cutting. The first one with all three animals was a CASE from the catalogue. Here they are:-

That's it from me, see you soon.
