Out with the Old, in with the New.

Good morning, are you ready for Christmas? Finally, I can say that I am apart from the food shopping and making some table crackers. I'm very excited now, not because of the presents but because I will have a special visitor on Christmas Eve....and no it's not Santa. Originally, it wasn't an option to be seeing ether one of my daughters on Christmas Day, as they don't get much time off from their jobs. However, a few days ago Steph messaged me to ask if she could stay over on Christmas Eve and leave on Christmas morning. Of course my response was a resounding 'Yes' and I actually cried I was so happy. Molly and her boyfriend have been here for a few days also, but her boyfriend has had to return to Cambridge for work, and Molly who is on a break from university is staying for a few more days, until she has to return to her part time job also. So all in all, I have been very lucky to spend some time with both Molly and Dan, and I have the thrill of seeing Steph soon too!! Christmas definitely came early for me this year. Anyway, back to the present now.

Yesterday afternoon was spent at the library helping out. The 'Friends of the Library' arranged a get together for the local community to come along and enjoy some food and drink, and just to have  a chat. There was also a fun quiz and I did some card making with all those who wanted to have a go.
A few people did try it and thoroughly enjoyed it! There was much interest from the others too, but they were too busy chatting to want to have a go. There was a choice of two cards, either a New Year's card or a Get Well card. We used 'Sip Sip Hooray' stamp set from Stampin' Up! which sadly is now sold out. We also used the brand new stamp set from the new Spring/Summer Mini catalogue 2020, entitled 'Timeless Tulips'. It also has a matching punch which makes it a breeze to cut out the large tulip. You certainly can make some beautiful, bright cheery cards by using it, perfect to brighten someone's day with the dreary weather that we're having at the moment.

If you don't have a local Stampin' Up! demonstrator and you would like to receive a new Mini catalogue, please just request one by email, thank you.

That's all for today. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of my customers, class attendees and followers for your loyal support throughout the year. I wish each and everyone of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
I will be back with one more blog post before we head into a new decade! Where has the last one gone?

Happy Crafting
Love Sarah. xx
