Wreath Builder Template

Hands up if you own the Stamparatus from Stampin' Up! but you don't use it much? I am guilty of this so with this in mind I am trying to learn and use more techniques by utilising it more. I think one of the best techniques for it is the Wreath Builder. What that means is that once you've created a template for your Stamparatus you can easily create stamped wreaths from lots of stamps in your collection. Small leafy stamps work really well, as do small flowers. Saying that, you're certainly not limited by what you use, it's really a case of having fun and experimenting with a range of different images. You can also use the technique of masking which helps you create another level to your wreath builder. If you would like to learn how to make your wreath template builder, then please take a look at my video below. If you have any questions or any difficulties then please let me know.

Once you've created your template, you have it for life and you can just concentrate on making simple and easy stamped wreaths. I focused my last FB Live on this technique and I hope that you will find it useful. I had great fun making different cards.

This card uses a 9 cm square piece of Whisper White for the stamped area. I have used the 'Lovely You' and 'Basket of Blooms' stamp set and matching punch from Stampin' Up! I stamped the greenery in Mossy Meadow Classic ink and the flowers were Poppy Parade and Rococo Rose inks.

For this card I used a Crumb Cake layer and just stamped the images again from the 'Lovely You' stamp set in Pear Pizzazz, Mossy Meadow for the foliage and Magenta Madness and Rococo Rose for the flowers. I then fussy cut the wreath by hand.

This last card was created by using a 9 cm square of Whisper White to stamp the feathers from 'Tasteful Touches' in a circular wreath shape. I just cut it in half and spaced it out and filled the gap with a strip of the 'In Good Taste' Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up! You can see that I also coloured a square vellum doily using my sponge brayer.  I finished it by stamping the floral image from the same set in Gorgeous Grape onto Whisper White and then fussy cut it out. The white shimmery ribbon is from the new Mini catalogue. The butterfly gems were the perfect finishing touches for the card.

I hope you like the cards and get some inspiration from them. If you would like to know in detail how I made them, you can watch the replay of my FB Live.
