Thoughtful Blooms and Masked Tower

Good Morning....I'm just popping by today to show you the cards from last night's FB Live. The first card involves just card stock, a stamp set, inks and a punch. It's the first time that I had played with this set. It's quite new to me because it's one that you can earn for FREE during the Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration( SAB) period when you have a qualifying order. We actually used to have very similar set which retired so I was very pleased to see a similar one again, especially with the matching punch. However, after playing with this one I believe it's even better than the one that we had before because that was just flowers with different patterns, this one has leaves, stems, different flowers and a border stamp plus it has some sentiments. It's amazing for a freebie, it really is! Also, with another qualifying order you can earn the punch for FREE, and we've not had a punch in the SAB catalogue for a very long time! Here's my quick card that I made with, I hope you like it. The sentiment came from another SAB stamp set that can be earned for free too, it's called 'Sending You Thoughts'.

My next card that I made came about as I had a request from a class lady. She wanted a refresher on how to mask off an area when you do stamping, so that the image looks as though it's behind something. I have to admit that it has been a very long while since we had done it in a class, so of course I wanted to oblige.

I chose to use the 'Parisian Beauty' and 'Forever Blossoms' stamp sets from Stampin' Up! which are part of the same suite from the Spring/Summer Mini Catalogue 2020.  I thought that the Eiffel Tower image would be perfect to show how flowers can be stamped to look as if they are behind it. Here's my card....

I hope you like both of the cards, you can see how I made them here on my FB Live.
