Happy New Year to You All!

Even though I'm not that keen on January, because it's generally so cold, there is one great reason to be cheerful and grateful for. That's because it's the best time of the year to be part of the Stampin' Up! community. One of my favourite suites from the catalogue is 'Dressed to Impress' Suite. It's so beautiful and feminine and ideal for all of the special ladies in your life! Teenagers will love it, and so will the young and the young at heart. I had such fun designing and making projects using the stamps, dies and the pretty designer series papers. I love the mini 3" x 3" cards and I wanted to present them in a box. I came across a tutorial by Amanda Fowler that fitted the bill perfectly, but I wanted to present a gift with the cards too! There was room for a lipstick or a nail varnish, so I made a box for that too.

I wasn't entirely happy with the finished product and I have since designed a better box for the lipstick holder, but I just need to make it up to test it. I will post the directions on here when it is complete.

Directions:

Main Box:
Card Stock Lovely Lipstick 10 ¾" x 7 ½"
Score Long Side 1¼", 4¾", 6", 9½"
Short Side 1¼", 6¼"

Handle: 6¼" x 1" scores at ¾" both ends.
DSP: 1 @ 4¾" x 3
1@ 4¾" x 3 1/8".

Circles 1" a mix of ¾, ½ or ¼. Score each circle into quarters to make it easier.

Inner Box for Lipstick: ( To be Amended)
Lovely Lipstick Card Stock at 6¼" x 3 3/8"

Long Side Score: ½", 1½", 2", 3", 3¾", 4¾", 5¼", 6¼"

Little Boxes( for wedges). 2@ 2¾" x 2½"

Long Side Score 1", 1¾"
Short Side Sore 1", 1½".
