I wanted to make a quick project to take to my daughter who we are visiting tomorrow. We have only seen her once in the last three months or so due to the pandemic, as she doesn't live locally.
The weather is meant to be good and so we are taking a picnic to enjoy somewhere local to her.
I kept the decoration for the box fairly simple. I used all current products from the New Stampin' Up! catalogue. My daughter loves yellow so I used the gorgeous Bumblebee Classic Ink Pad from the new In Colour range, to colour the white box. I applied the ink by sponging with the sponge brayer.
To the top of the box, I adhered a piece of Designer Series Paper from the 'Flowers For Every Season' suite. It measured 130 mm x 85 mm. ( 5 1/8" x 3 3/8"). I die cut a piece of Whisper White card stock from Stampin' Up! using the Stitched Nested Dies.
The rest of the decoration was provided by using the awesome new bundle from Stampin' Up! called 'Nothing's Better'. I loved it went I first saw it in the catalogue and knew that I had to have it! The stamp set is inspired by Million Sales Achiever, Connie Stewart. Huge thanks to Connie. I used mostly the dies and cut some of the words with both poppy Parade card stock and Early Espresso card stock. For my original box I used Magenta Madness though. I stamped the image of the chocolates too and used my Stampin' Write markers to colour them in. The box was filled with goodies and then a beautiful bow was tied around it using the lovely soft new ¼" ribbon in the Bumblebee colour.
