Cycling Fun

Hi there everyone! I thought that I would now include my cycling adventures in my blog alongside my card making for my classes. I hope it interests people who maybe don't live in beautiful Norfolk, where I'm lucky enough to live and also maybe encourages other people to get out on their bike, it really is a lovely way to enjoy the beauty that surrounds us, as well as being great exercise and also a superb social activity.

So this weekend, I've done two bike rides. Yesterday was a 51 mile adventure to the destination of Oxburgh Hall, which is near Swaffham in a place called Oxborough. ( Note the different spelling, I will have to do my research as to why they are both spelt differently but sound the same). Oxburgh Hall is a stunning Tudor moated country house which was built around 1482. It's always been used as a family home and not a fortress. It is definitely a place to visit if you're ever in the Norfolk area. It's now in the safe hands of the National Trust. Here's the website if you want to learn more.

A beautiful picture of Oxburgh Hall.

Just the three of us rode today, we usually ride in bigger groups on a Sunday.
